It has been said that the body does what it need to do to detox the body of nasties but I feel sometimes the body gets run down from unhealthy food choices, alcohol, caffeine, drugs, stress and toxins from the environment that are part of modern day living.  No matter how healthy you think you are, external factors still require us to give the body a chance to recharge and rid of anything that might be holding us back from experiencing great health and wellness.  When our vital organs are put under stress and unable to work efficiently, this is when illness and disease occurs.  Taking time out to cleanse the body and nurture yourself prevents this from happening and also has immediate effects.  You’ll find that you have increased energy, more clarity of mind, clearer skin, better sleep, better digestion, and so many more benefits.

Here are some tell-tale signs that your body needs a detox:-

You constantly feel fatigued, stressed out and overwhelmed

You experience frequent headaches and/or lack mental clarity

You often have breakouts and blemishes and have tired, dull complexion
